that lead to any factual or probable indication of anything about jesus life being accurate? i don’t doubt he probably existed, but after hours of intense research on his life, death, and supposed Resurrection, i get mixed up results with some sites not quite so up to date with their info from historians and scientists.
ive heard we think we have the exact date of jesus death, and some researchers (i don’t have names for any of these people, forgive me) stating, that they’ve found a way to trace back to around that date/day, and have found earthquakes and eclipses right on the same day sometime that jesus died. true or false? are they still looking up to see if its dust storms?
also, any other info about jesus please. yes i am looking to find if any sources of the bible are true or probably false, and i am a huge skeptic as jesus whole story was possibly used from previous ideas similar 5000 years ago.
also:::: Id kindly ask no christians to reply here please. nothing personal, but im looking for non biased answers. lets face it, when were passionate about our views, we like to take note only on the positives. thank you!

This question gets asked a lot especially it seems by young people so here’s the answer again…..Jesus is a real historical figure who exists in history (separate from religion) and is as well or better documented than many historical figures from the ancient world. Famous accepted historical figures from ancient history such as Agamemnon, King Solomon and David, Boudicca, Homer, Prophet Mohammad, Buddha etc. are all way less documented than Jesus but no one doubts their existence….But since Jesus is connected with religion it seems some people want to falsely remove him from history. So the history facts on Jesus……….
1. The Bible besides being a religious text is also a history text (whether people think the historians who wrote it’s history sections were accurate or not, that does not change what it is). We know the Bible was written in the period 700BC-100AD so most of the historical events and people it details were contemporaneous with it’s writing (as history going on when it was being written). The books of the Bible are in fact themselves a ’1st source artifact from the ancient world’, whether people want to discuss their accuracy or not and entitled to the respect given historical artifacts.
2. Three Roman historians wrote of Jesus in their histories….Josephus 90AD, Tacitus, Suetonius both 110AD. We have their and always have had their ancient history texts. They included Jesus in their official histories within about 50-70 years of his reported execution which would be about right for him to be included in history texts of the time. (Just put in each Roman historians name in Google along with the name ‘Jesus’ to read the 3 ancient histories online.
3. Accepted scholarship date the 1st New Testament writings on Jesus (the ‘Letters of Paul’) to 50AD about 17 years after Jesus’s claimed execution and the Gospels to 70AD-95AD (37-50 years after the reported execution, which again would be right time wise for such histories to be written).
4. Certain facts included in the Jesus story have been proven by history (there really was a Pontius Pilate, a Ca
